FAQs
Do I need a will?
Our response to that is, the choice is yours, however it’s good practice to put a will in place. It essentially allows you to decide how your assets are divided amongst your loved ones. Dying without a will means that your estate will be divided according to the Rules of Intestacy which may mean that some of your loved ones may not be catered for by your estate.
What is a Lasting Power of Attorney?
This a document that enables you to appoint people who you trust (attorneys) to make decisions with you and/or on your behalf in relation to your health and your finances. This document becomes increasingly valuable if one loses their mental capacity and is no longer able to, or struggles to make decisions on their own.
Why are contracts important?
A contract is a legally binding document that provides clarity and certainty in relation to transactions between two or more companies or people. Contracts cover matters like the quantity of a product to be sold, the quality of a service or product to be provided, payment terms and other important aspects of an agreement.
I’m about to launch a business, how can you help?
One of the important things to consider when running a business is what type of structure you will use along with your standard terms and conditions for your transactions. Dependent on the type of your business, we can help you with a range of contractual documentation that will help you to have peace of mind when running your enterprise.
